Have you ever figured why the North East of India is called the "North" East. Why North? It's just the Eastern part of India. Why not just call it Eastern India?

Is it because the Bongs insist that they are East India? If we really named our regions like the Americans, then Bengal would be the midwest of India, right?

So if the East is really North East India, then what is South East India? The Andaman and Nicobar islands?

The center of India, as clearly marked by the GIF circle, is Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha. That's our heart. The Bongs are almost at the center, not to the East. Maybe they were East when we were one huge country with Pakistan and even Afghanistan inside our boundary.

Anyway. This post isn't about Bengal. It's about the North East. Which is just the East.

(I'm still on medication. As you can see.)
