As I was saying yesterday... liberals have perfected the art of appropriating credit for other people's hard won battles. Liberals, leftists, Savarna activists.

Solidarity is when you give. Not when you snatch.

Sherebanu FroshWho has snatched? Where? You have some issues with a few liberals and are now seeing only bad things done by very few as being the standard. The bigger historical narrative will be driven forward by liberals coming together, not pulling each other down. Hide
Balaji SampathI don't agree Saurabh. The cartoon is showing freedom fighters leading the farmers. That's far away from today's congress. It is important to keep emphasizing the continuity of struggles from the freedom movement to many movements of today. That both gives it a wider appeal and places in context that current movements are trying to complete the job started years ago and real freedom hasn't come yet. Not doing so, allows the BJP and RSS to appropriate the freedom struggle and the patriotism plank, even though they kept a huge distance from the freedom struggle! Hide
