Are you serious? They just inaugurated the IPL? Didn't they just get done with the World Cup? Like, yesterday they were all in Australia. Do none of them have families they need to spend time with?

I couldn't even get past the front page of the Hindu today. What a bad news day. Ghettos in Kashmir for Pandits. Fake encounters in AP and Telangana. Minister abusing his privileges to compromise flight safety. And the NGT just screwed the resale value of my Ford.

Shailabh NagarI used to wonder about the stress of back to back cricketing events on players (at national team level / IPL) till someone pointed out the similarity of working times to migrant labor, sales/marketing folks (working at regional/global levels) besides the fact that they get paid very handsomely. Shailabh NagarI switched from the tabloid of India to the Hindu recently and am glad to find some real news making its appearance in a newspaper. Today was a bad one though, yes. Hide

Saurabh JI'm actually not talking about the players, as much as the rest of the organisers, who must number in the thousands, and don't get paid as well. And the viewers? Don't they get fatigue?
Ess KayFirst of all, every Indian is doing 9 to 5 job efficiently. So Indian players aren't doing anything great. Now coming to viewers, frankly no one watch any thing these days, every one use is very busy operating their smart phone and in back ground all they hear is TV sound. Hide
