I don't understand what is going on in Texas. So I looked at a Centigrade map.
This is terribly cold weather. But, last week of December, minimum temperatures in Gurgaon were 4°C. We were sleeping without the heater on, in just a blanket. I'm hearing reports that people in Texas are unable to sleep in the absence of electricity.
Do folks in Texas not have comforters readily available? I mean, if the kind of weather that we have in Delhi suddenly hit Chennai, I know people would literally die. Most folks in Chennai have not seen space heaters or comforters. Is that what is happening in Texas?
Also, I understand Texans have a lot of guns. Are you guys lining up electricity company CEOs in the snow and blowing their heads off yet? Because I understand spot electricity rates are over 100x the usual rates. And none of that excess money seems to be going into restoring the grid. Which for some reason is isolated from the rest of the US.
