There are a lot of things to unpack in this image.

There's a layer of ducks in the water. A layer of bar heads flying above them. And kites flying above the bar heads. I think the kites are hunting the bar heads, who are more vulnerable in flight than when in the water.

There's also layers of foliage. Water. Water hyacinth. Trees. And I'm sure, in the water, insects and fish.
