I have searched online but couldn't find any data or study that explains how effective night curfews are. I mean, this isn't crime we are fighting; it's an infection. It isn't moving around stealthily in the night.

I do understand it curbs some activity. But what percentage of public human interactions are taking place between 10pm and 5am? Also, doesn't this just move more interactions to day time?

Am I missing something obvious? Because the governments of Maharashtra, Delhi and Karnataka can't collectively be stupid.
