AID India has restarted their Covid Relief work. Below are the five major areas of focus of their field teams:
1. Increase vaccine reach to rural areas and poor families.
2. Help with home care support for less severe covid cases (prone position, pulse oximeters to monitor, etc.)
3. Support for more serious cases: help line to connect with hospitals with available beds, oxygen cylinders, etc.
4. Helping poor families who have lost their livelihood due to covid lock-downs and closing of work places.
5. Helping families of people who have died because of covid or are in extended period in hospital.
