We currently have two mechanical engineers, and two more folks, working on the oxygen concentrator design and prototyping.
Discussions are on WhatsApp and documents are in Google Drive/Docs.
Since this is an open source project, we would like the chats and documents to be public. But people, especially non-nerds who haven't done open source software development before, find WhatsApp and GDrive simpler than IRC and Github.
Is there a way for us to throw open our communication and documentation to the world ,while keeping the interfaces familiar? Does Telegram or Slack have open channels that random people cannot post to, but can read and then request to join.
On the Google Drive front, at least, we can throw open the folder to the public. I think it'll be simpler if I move all files from my company ID to a personal ID - sharing with domain restrictions is a pain.
Anyone got better ideas? Are there plug-and-play hosting platforms that can provide us these services, even at a charge.
