All children born in 2007 or before are eligible for Covid vaccination in India. This is what the CoWin website says, "All beneficiaries aged 15 years and above (birth year 2007 or earlier) can register for vaccination."
The government has been saying that all children aged 15 years or above are eligible. This would mean that, as on date, all children born on or before 15 Jan 2007 are eligible. But that is not the ground reality. Even children born on 31 Dec 2007, who are currently aged 14 years and 15 days, are eligible as per the policy on the CoWin website. Ever since Nilay told me this two days ago, I have corroborated this with multiple news sources and now the CoWin website itself.
