So, there is a doctor in Gurgaon who has been prescribing me a multivitamin for two years now. No matter how hard I try, I am unable to procure this capsule anywhere beyond the particular market complex that her clinic is in.

Today, I decided to dig deeper. Turns out, that although the medicine strip carries an address in Pune, the Private Limited company that manufactures it is registered at the address of her clinic. She is one of the two directors. The paid up capital of the company is a mere ₹1,00,000.

Are there no checks and balances in India for something like this?
