One of our many neighbourhood Narkasuras.

Passing scooter for size reference.

(It is said that up North diwali is the celebration of the killing of Ravana by Ram. Down south it is the celebration of the killing of Narkasura by Krishna. And of course Jains and Buddhists have entirely different reasons for celebrating Diwali.)

Narkasura burns just before dawn tomorrow.
