On our fourth day away from Gurgaon, I asked the kids how they felt.

Nilay: My nose is running again. In Gurgaon it was jammed up all the time. All that icky stuff is flowing out now.

Kavin: The air in Gurgaon was very thick. Here it is a lot easier to breathe.

My personal experience is that my nose doesn't have a constant tingling sensation. Breathing takes significantly less effort.

The Gurgaon DC has just declared schools closed on Monday, per the GRAP. So we will continue to be away from Gurgaon tomorrow. But how does one live from one day to another like this? How do I attend to my work?

In 1998, I watched a documentary screened by AID on IIT campus. Titled "Kaise Jeebo Re!", the film talks about the plight of those displaced from the Narmada valley. Twenty years on, I am a displaced person myself. A "victim" of climate change and/or pollution. I may have personal transport and education, but I have nowhere to go. Indeed, how do I live, my friend?
