This is dystopian and bizarre.

Anyone who has lived or hung out in SF knows about the homeless problem. The city is a magnet for folks with mental health issues that the American health system will (bizarrely) not care for. They're all addicted to various substances, and create public nuisance of the kinds I haven't seen anywhere else. In Gurgaon, folks spit on the roads, and whenever I walk anywhere, I have to see that stuff and it disgusts me. But you should (NOT) see what the homeless leave behind in SF. Plus, they are aggressive panhandlers.

However, they're human. And the SPCA, that stands for animals, is now using robots against them.

Now, if you've been following what Goodall and a number of other conservationists have been saying for a long time, the human population problem is exacerbating the Anthropocene extinction. We have to stop multiplying if the other species have to survive. Isn't that obvious? When our numbers are a threat to our own existence as a species, what can be said of the other species.

There is a battle brewing. The humans versus other species battle has been happening for millennia now, and the humans have been winning. The new battle is between humanity in general, and those humans who side with the animals (and other species).

And the humans-with-the-animals side just picked robots.
