This thing is an absolute workhorse. I know folks who have been using many of these for three years now with absolutely no trouble. Even a filter change has not been required, although you should change the carbon filter if you get a weird smell from the purifier (smells like a spent campfire).
There are newer versions of the 3256, such as the 3257, that are not available online. Check with your local shop about the latest models and their prices. You will get better deals at shops than online (if that surprises you, you don't understand how e-commerce works).
If you are in Delhi/NCR, you should not buy anything cheaper/smaller than this. It just won't cut it. A good friend just tried the Mi and it bombed.
