Alternative Medicine
Has either not been proved to work,
Or been proved not to work.
You know what they call alternative medicine
That’s been proved to work?
Medicine.

I found this the most insightful: If water indeed has memory, like homeopaths claim, then how come it does not have memory of all the poo that's been in it. After all, every drop of water on earth is but dinosaur pee.
People like to believe that all pharmaceutical drugs are composed entirely of synthetic chemicals. Acetylsalicylic acid, the primary ingredient in aspirin, has a "scary" scientific name. But so does dihydrogen monoxide, water. Aspirin traces its origins to the bark of the willow tree. The bark and leaves of this tree have been relieving pain and fever for millennia. Bayer merely refined salicylic acid, and came up with a process for mass production of aspirin. That doesn't mean aspirin is suddenly evil. In fact, now that it is scientifically studied, there is a huge body of research available on its correct dosage and side effects.
