Me: Just be your usual, nice self. Remember how you made friends with five random kids on top of a mountain in Pooh.
Nilay: Not five. Ten. 😊. That's helpful. I feel good. I'll go make some friends.
Me: Would you rather be the nice kid or the cool kid.
Nilay: I'll go with nice 👍🏽
This, while I've myself wondered in recent times if being a nice guy is such a good strategy after all. Perhaps being bold, aggressive and cool is the better way to go.
