Yea! We launched!
Few things I noticed during DD's live stream of the Chandrayaan II launch.
1. One commentator was speaking English, the other Hindi. Hindi sounded strange, juxtaposed against the visuals of the entirely South Indian ISRO team. The only North Indians were in the viewers gallery.
2. The Hindi commentator spoke big Hindi words to describe each complex component of the system. But he struggled to pronounce १८४ in Hindi. He also struggled to translate velocity to गति, and use other simple Hindi words. This made for some linguistic comedy.
3. That joker Sadhguru had placed himself prominently in the center of the proceedings. His pseudo scientific nonsense gathers credence when he is seen snuggling up to real scientists. Sad.
