In this episode, am I the only one concerned that there is profit to be made in pirating NCERT books.

As in, why is NCERT selling books to students at so much more than the material cost, that someone could literally make crores of rupees in reprinting them.

Isn't the public funding the NCERT to make these books? Then why recover operational or content creation costs from students?
