What? Just? Happened?
1. Rajasthan made masks mandatory.
2. It banned firecrackers completely. (Not even those so called green crackers. Nothing. This protects the lungs of existing covid and COPD patients, and keeps lungs healthy in general.)
3. The ban on old and polluting vehicles will be strictly enforced.
Good governance overdose. Like, this is so easy. One farman and done. In Haryana we are just screaming our lungs out while breathing AQI 1200 air, and all they do is cut more trees, denotify forests, and encroach on pedestrian spaces.
(If it is this polluted, is it even air any more? The chemical composition itself has changed.)
