Stay safe, California. Many counties are running out of ICU beds.

Reading through this news piece took me back to the time I was hospitalised with Covid - the day before I was moved to the ICU. I was coughing like all hell. I couldn't stand, couldn't brush, couldn't use the washroom. My oxygen saturation was falling and panic was setting in. The next morning they wheeled me into the ICU and things took a turn for the better.

So, yeah, ICU beds are very important for Covid patients. But you can't keep buying more beds and hiring more medical professionals. The way to improve bed availability is to reduce the number of patients. So please stay inside and stay safe. Stop the spread so some of you can be saved from ending up in the ICU. Being sick with Covid just isn't fun.
