One great advantage of moving my phone to cyanogenmod - I can now switch my phone between 3G/4G and 2G. Somehow HTC had eliminated this basic Android feature from all its firmware for the One S. My phone, which earlier didn't last even half a day, is now the Energizer Bunny.
