They say age and experience give you wisdom.

Having children makes you very vulnerable. You may have been a child yourself; your friends or relatives may have children. But it is only when you have your own children, or children are born and grow up in your own home, that you truly understand their innocence. I now know what violence, fear and hate can do to children. I cannot imagine children around the world going through this horror.

Think of the children. It is not a rhetorical tactic or a meme. It is the truth. Before you cast another stone or fire another shell, think of the children.
