I haven't heard much from my friends in the Railways about this. If such a massive investment is indeed happening, it is a very good thing. India cannot develop on roads and airways alone. We desperately need the Railways to shoulder their share of passenger and freight traffic. The congestion and resulting chaos is definitely true.

One thing is for sure. Whatever investment is happening is a lot better managed than before. Suresh Prabhu is indeed a busy, ambitious and capable man.
